Tax Rates is a small statutory-tax desk. Younivi publishes it as an information project from New Zealand. There is no research floor, no sales desk and no invented masthead of analysts.
The product is narrow on purpose. Each page shows one OECD series at a time: the statutory standard corporate income tax rate, the combined central plus sub-central corporate rate, the standard VAT/GST rate, and the top statutory personal income tax rate. Every page has a filterable chart, a ranked table, a short explanation and a citation.
Country pages at the root of this site give one economy's rates side by side, with a short history for each series and the source line for each. They do not invent a local series we have not ingested, and they never estimate a value the OECD does not publish.
Younivi publishes this as an information project. It is not a bank, a tax adviser or a financial-advice provider. Nothing on the site is a recommendation, and no page offers personal tax advice.
Sources and licences
Corporate rates come from the OECD Corporate Income Tax Rates database, personal rates from the OECD Tax Database, and VAT/GST standard rates from OECD Consumption Tax Trends 2024 (CC BY 4.0). Each series page prints the source and its licence. Values are republished unmodified; we do not resell the data or present a producer's figure as our own.
Honest gaps
An economy appears on a series page only where the source publishes it. Where the OECD does not publish a series for a country, the country page joins the label to the words Not tracked and prints the data note verbatim. We do not interpolate a missing year, borrow another country's rate, or invent a history to fill a gap.
Editorial independence
Advertising is served through Google AdSense. It has no role in which series we publish or how we describe them, and advertisers cannot influence a page. We do not accept payment to include or exclude an economy, and the pages do not rank economies as better or worse places to do business.
